Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and SevenUI ("we", "us"), the provider of the sevenui.dev website, the SevenUI component registry, and SevenUI Pro. By using the site or purchasing SevenUI Pro you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1. The free component registry

The public SevenUI components, documentation, and blocks published in this repository and served from the public registry are open source under theMIT License. That license — not these terms — governs what you may do with that source code. Nothing here restricts rights the MIT License grants you.

Sections 3 to 8 below apply only to SevenUI Pro, which is commercial and is not covered by the MIT License.

2. Accounts

Buying SevenUI Pro requires an account. Sign-in is handled by our identity provider, Clerk, using Google, GitHub, or a one-time code sent to your email address. You are responsible for keeping access to that email address and to the connected accounts secure, and for everything done through your account.

Create one account per person, give accurate information, and tell us atmail@sevenui.dev if you believe your account has been used without your permission.

3. SevenUI Pro is sold as a pre-order

SevenUI Pro is currently offered as a pre-order. You pay once, today, at the pre-order price shown at checkout, and you receive a lifetime license to the Pro blocks catalog as it is released. The price will rise for new customers once the catalog launches; your pre-order price is locked in and you owe nothing further.

We publish Pro blocks progressively and we do not commit to a delivery date, to a specific number of blocks, or to any particular block being built. The catalog names shown on the Pro page describe our intended direction, not a contractual promise. If your purchase depends on a specific block existing today, do not pre-order — buy after it ships, or use the refund right in section 5.

4. Payments and taxes

Payments are processed by Polar, which acts as the merchant of record for the sale. Polar handles the transaction, applicable sales tax or VAT, and your invoice, under its own terms and privacy policy. We never receive or store your card details.

Prices are shown in US dollars and may change at any time for future purchases. A price change never affects a licence you have already bought.

5. Refunds

You may request a full refund within 14 days of your purchase, for any reason and without explanation. Emailmail@sevenui.dev from the address on your account, or contact Polar directly. Refunds are returned through the original payment method.

When a purchase is refunded, the licence granted in section 6 ends and the associated licence key is revoked. You must stop using any Pro source code obtained with it and remove it from your projects. Statutory consumer rights that apply where you live are unaffected by this section.

6. What your Pro licence allows

Subject to payment, we grant you a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the SevenUI Pro source code, for one developer. You may:

  • use Pro blocks in an unlimited number of personal and commercial projects;
  • modify them freely and ship them as part of your own applications and websites;
  • use them in work you build for clients, including projects you hand over to a client.

You may not:

  • redistribute, resell, sublicense, or publish the Pro source code as source — including in a public repository, a paid or free template, a course, or a starter kit whose value is the SevenUI code itself;
  • use the Pro code to build or contribute to a competing component library, block collection, UI kit, or registry;
  • share your licence key or your account with people outside your licence. A team needs one licence per developer working with the Pro source.

Shipping a compiled or deployed application that contains Pro blocks is always fine. The restrictions are about distributing the source as a product.

7. Licence keys

Your licence key is issued by Polar and shown in your account. Treat it like a password: it authenticates requests to the Pro registry, and any use of your key is attributed to you.

We may revoke a key that is shared publicly, used beyond the licence granted above, or used to abuse the registry. Where the situation allows it, we will contact you first. Revocation for abuse does not entitle you to a refund outside the window in section 5.

8. Acceptable use

When using the site, the registry, or the Pro API, do not:

  • attempt to bypass authentication, rate limits, or licence checks;
  • scrape, mirror, or bulk-download the Pro registry beyond what installing blocks into your own projects requires;
  • disrupt the service, probe it for vulnerabilities without asking us first, or use it to break the law;
  • misrepresent your relationship with SevenUI.

9. Intellectual property

Except for the rights the MIT License and section 6 grant you, SevenUI retains all rights in the SevenUI Pro source code, the site, and the SevenUI name and marks. SevenUI builds on third-party open-source software — Base UI, Tailwind CSS, React, and others — each under its own licence, which continues to apply to those components.

10. Availability and changes

We aim to keep the site and the registry available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may change, restructure, or discontinue parts of the free registry, the documentation, or the site at any time. If we ever discontinue the Pro registry entirely, you keep every file you have already installed, and we will provide a way to download the Pro blocks covered by your licence.

11. No warranty

The service and all code are provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. You are responsible for testing the code you ship and for the accessibility, security, and legal compliance of the products you build with it.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SevenUI is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits, revenue, or data. Our total liability arising out of or relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the event that gave rise to the claim.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for wilful misconduct or gross negligence, or mandatory consumer rights.

13. Termination

You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access — including revoking a licence key — if you materially breach these terms, in particular sections 6, 7, and 8. Sections 9, 11, 12, and 14 survive termination.

14. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, and the courts of İstanbul (Çağlayan) have jurisdiction over disputes arising from them. If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory consumer law of the country where you live, or of the right to bring a claim before your local courts where that law gives you one.

15. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product changes. The date at the top of this page always reflects the current version. Material changes affecting existing Pro customers will be announced by email to the address on the account. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated terms; the licence you already bought is never retroactively narrowed.
